Salvador Dali worshiped the famous doctor Sigmund Freud, ardently wished to meet him and discuss his complexes and Surrealism with him. One such meeting had occurred, but the exhausting imaginary conversations with Doctor Freud continued.

Once, in a dream, Dali visited Freud’s sanitarium, where the painter became involved in a group session of psychoanalysis which managed to disperse the surrealistic fogs around the mysterious character of Dali…

Audition Information

Salvador Dali – Male, Age 35 – 45, Height 5’9”+

Formal resemblance with Dali is necessary: slim, dark hair, hark eyes, prominent facial features, large expressive eyes. The famous surrealist-painter. Good mover, strong dramatic actor.

For the first round of auditions, we will contact you and ask you to submit a video of a monologue from the show – depending on the character you’re being considered for. The sides will be provided at the time of the request.

Callbacks will be held on February 17 and 18 at the Gene Frankel Theater between 10am and 1pm.
