DESCRIPTION

A Taste of Ireland is looking for a Driver/Technician to join its US tour this season. Run by International production company Pace Live, the A Taste of Ireland shows have been performed to thousands around the globe. In 2023, A Taste of Ireland completed successful tours of the US, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. This year the production tours the Northwest United States.

Become intimately familiar with show prior to rehearsals via calling script, show plots, video recordings, and Pre-Production Meetings
Responsible for packing/unpacking the Box Truck in a safe and secure manner
Ensuring the Box Truck arrives at Load IN at all venues on time
Driving the Box Truck between venues (with assistance from crew)
Lead venue teams in the loading and unloading of box truck.
Lead the set installation during load in
Assist other departments as needed during load in
Making necessary decisions to ensure and maintain show integrity
Ensure that all equipment is kept in a tidy, clean and orderly manner
Final checks at load out
Assist Production Manager with any logistics that may be needed at specific venues
Backstage tech during the performance
Final checks at load out
Additional Duties as agreed upon
Be an ambassador for Pace Live at all times
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 previous tours in similar position
Valid Driver’s license
Excellent problem-solving skills
Self-motivated
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Positive attitude
Team player
Ability to adapt with varying venues and situations

Generous rate plus per diem included.
