Here I Am LLC and Something Better Productions are seeking musicians and a sound designer for the upcoming off-broadway premiere of HERE I AM: A NEW MUSICAL, by Christian Cantrell and Samantha Roberts at AMT Theater. Previews begin 3/1/24 and we open 3/8/24. Closing is currently set for 4/14/24.

Currently Seeking:
Guitar (Acoustic & Electric)
Bass (Bass Guitar)
Sound Designer (Creation of sound effects & live mixing consultant for board operator)

HERE I AM is a love story set in the age of social media and instant gratification, ultimately seeking to answer the question: who is worthy of forgiveness? We invite you to come join us, and experience the thrill of falling, as we create this new, completely original musical. Our score is set in a rock and pop style, with dynamic range from light comedic moments to dark, dissonant minor numbers.

Schedule - for musicians, we will be having band rehearsals, sitzprobe and dress rehearsal the week of 2/26, and opening night is 3/8. For tech, our music director will take all band member schedules into account and find times that work for the entire band to rehearse. Show musician calls are 1 hour to 30 minutes prior to curtain. We run WEEKENDS ONLY (Friday 7PM, Saturday 2PM/7PM, Sunday 2PM). For our sound designer, we are in need of work during our tech week.

For sound designers: load-in is 2/19, with a full theater lockout 2/19 - 2/23.

Regarding compensation, musicians will earn $300/week, and our sound designer will recieve a stipend of $.
